Animated Collision Reconstruction Simulations
FAIS can provide dynamic animated collision simulations as a useful addition to its reconstruction services. Accurate scaled models of the vehicles are superimposed onto scaled background drawings or satellite images of the collision scene.
The Interactive Crash and Trajectory Simulation (ICATS) provides realistic animated representations of the vehicle collisions, damage and the pre-and post-impact movements of the vehicles. Simulations also include pedestrians and animals.
The interactive camera will show the collision from any viewing position, even inside the vehicles to show the drivers eye view of the crash.
Collision Animation is a valuable tool in presentation of clear and understandable evidence to courts and tribunals to illustrate the collision reconstruction in a dynamic visual environment.
